Thehandle is used to cover and protect the internal canopy switch. It also turnsthe CANOPY warning light OFF/ON, and mechanically prevents the canopy actuatorfrom unlatching. This design prevents the pilot from accidentally touching thecanopy switch during flight. The handle will move to the locked positionautomatically when the canopy is fully closed, so just verify it is in thelocked position.

Canopy –Closed and locked.

This is the LIGHTING panel. This panel ispart of the LIGHTING system .The LIGHTING system is used internal and externallights .This panel is used to control the interior lights, so we can see ourpanels and instruments, even during a night flight. This panel is the first tobe set, as many controls must be set, in a predetermined state before enginestart .Use your mouse left click to move switches upwards, turn knobs CW (clockwise),and push buttons in .Use right clicks to move switches downwards, and rotateknobs CCW, so we need to change this by right clicking it. Some controls can bechanged rapidly with the mouse scroll wheel, when the green cursor changes intoa scroll cursor.

Interior LIGHTING control panel- All knobsOFF.

This is the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) panel.This panel is part of the COMMUNICATION system. It is used to control the UHFradio, but only as a backup. The Function knob (not written on the panel) isthe bottom left knob of the panel. This knob needs to be moved BOTH.
